DESCRIPTION: This project was created in collaboration with artist Elliott Wall who wanted a structure in which to house his painting while on exhibit.  The idea was that the painting could only be viewed by one person at time.  Inside the Shrine, Wall connected a light which illuminated his painting for twelve seconds before going dark, allowing the loan visitor just a glimpse of the art work.  We designed and built the Shrine in 30 days using 100% reclaimed and salvaged materials.
